Happy New Year everyone!!  I'm sorry to you all that I haven't been able to do much work out here (Honestly, I was shocked when I saw that I hadn't updated the site since June 8!)  I was very busy over the summer after I got back from my Family Reunion in OKC.  I also started school in September after being homeschooled the previous 3 years, so things have been alot busier around here lately.  I regret to say that I do not know when I will be able to update the site with more information.  If you need any information, feel free to email me: Contact Me

Once again I am back on the computer working on the website.  Here's 2 new things that I have finished since yesterday: I have FINALLY got the Surnames pages up and running, here are the links: Family Surnames, A-J  Family Surnames, K-Z.  There aren't a lot of names, yet, but I will continue to work on it and put more names up over time.  I also have begun adding pictures of the people (if I have them) on their bio pages, so check that out too!
Second, say good bye to that confusing Photo Gallery, I have just created a Tripod Photo Album, which will be easier for you to view my old photographs, and easier for me to write descriptions about them.  The album also lets you leave comments about my photos, which I encourage anyone interested to do so.  Here's the link to the Photo Album:
This link can also be found in the Photo Album page located on the Navigation bar.

Hello everyone!  I have just recently returned from a Bartz Family Reunion in Oklahoma City, OK.  As any good genealogist knows, a family reunion is a great time to meet family members and to collect information on a part of you're family.  For me, personally, my family reunion was just that.  Anyway, I have just completed a new family tree, located on the Downloads Page, this time it's a family not from my father's mother's family, but my father's father's family, the Block Family, all the descendents I know of of Herman Block (b: 1872   d: 1958) and Maria Ricke (b: 1869  d: 1951)  Make sure you email me if you have any extra information or any corrections for me, I'd love to hear from YOU!!
Next, I am now posting more photos in my Photo Gallery, this time the photos I am putting there are photos that include living family members.  To protect their privacy, their names will not be given, and these photos will be avaliable to look at on and off, meaning I will remove them sometimes for security reasons.

Hi Everyone!  Here I am, back here on another Saturday!  The Surnames pages will remain under construction for a while, since I am now mainly working on the Downloads page.  I have added yet another family tree download on the Downloads page, it's the Leeuwrik family, and all the descendents that I know of, of Gerrit Leeuwrik (b: 1811  d: 1882) and Dieuwertje Bruin (b: 1816  d: 1879).  Enjoy!

Hi Everyone!  Finally I'm getting back to working on this website after being too busy to do any work.  I still haven't gotten the Surnames pages up and running, but I finally added my first family tree download on the Downloads page.  It's the Bartz family, and it's all descendents of Carl Bartz (b: 1842  d: 1918) and Hannah Jhunke/Juhnke (b: 1847  d: 1933) (Well, at least all the descendents I know of!)  Anyway, please enjoy and check back often, for more downloads.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Gelhar, and I designed this geneology site to spread information about my family tree and to learn more as well.

Most of this information was obtained from talking to my parents and grandparents.  In the course of doing this research, I've discovered that I have many more relatives than I ever thought possible!

This is a work in progress, so please contact me if you have any information that might help round out the picture.

Alot of information was also obtained from, which is a free genealogy website.  I would also like to thank my parents and my grandparents for giving me such helpful information and advice.

Please get in touch and let me know what you think of my site.

The above link is for the staff of my site ONLY, NO VISITORS PLEASE!!!
